As we reflect on 2025, a huge THANK YOU!
It was an amazing year and time in the cattle industry. We saw all-time record high prices on calves, yearlings and bred cows. Though this business and industry can be challenging, it can also be so rewarding—there is no other industry like it.
We would like to send a huge thank you to those we have the opportunity to work with, they work so hard all year and especially in the fall. There were endless 12+ hour days and everyone dug in.
Thank you to all our buyers for their trust and support, who show up no matter what and stay until the end of every sale and deal.
And most importantly, thank you to all our customers. We are grateful and honoured that you put your trust in us. We look forward to this next year and are committed to continue to strive to support and maintain the strongest market prices.

Postal Strike Options
As of September 26th, the CUPW (Canada Post Union) announced a nationwide strike, and currently continues to hold rotating strikes across Canada, Alberta could again participate in the rotating strike.
At Calgary Stockyards, our top priority is ensuring that your cheques and payments continue to be delivered smoothly, despite these disruptions. Here are the steps we’re taking:

Pickup in our Office: You are able to pick up your cheques at the Calgary Stockyards Strathmore Auction market or our Calgary Office by request. Please contact our office at calgarystockyards@outlook.com or (403) 934-3344 to discuss your pickup.

Electronic Fund Transfer: is available and we would need your bank account information, please contact our office at calgarystockyards@outlook.com or (403) 934-3344 and we can let you know what information we would need emailed or texted to our office.

Cheques Already in Transit: If your cheque has not arrived and is already out for delivery with Canada Post, please contact our office at calgarystockyards@outlook.com or (403) 934-3344 to discuss further options.
